Media personality Toke Makinwa has responded to speculation that a wealthy politician or celebrity is funding her luxurious lifestyle.
In a recent interview with Chude Jideonwo, she claimed that Jesus is behind everything she has.
When asked, “Who is funding your lifestyle, the Ikoyi mansion, expensive lifestyle and luxury?” Toke Makinwa simply replied, “Jesus. I’m still trying to find the rich man they say is funding me. “
Toke Makinwa also spoke about her late parents who died in a fighting incident.
She said, “My mother was 33 years old and had four children when she died.
“I’m 36 years old and I have no children and I can’t even imagine what has been going through her head in the last few moments because she knows she might not make it and leave four children behind.”
Regarding her failed marriage to Maje Ayida, which she had cheated on with another woman, she said: “I’ll be very honest, I could have stayed if it hadn’t been so public.”
