VANCOUVER – The past year has been full of obstacles and turning points for the fitness industry.

The Fitness World team had to deal with class restrictions, closings and openings due to Covid-19.

CEO Chris Smith says he is extremely proud of his team and their accomplishments as they celebrate their one year anniversary.

They have helped over 25,000 Canadians gain access to affordable fitness to help them achieve their goals.

Fitness World is encouraging people to get back to the gym to relieve the stress and anxiety of the past year and a half.

The Great Summer Melt Off is underway and is an excellent opportunity to meet fitness goals.

Fitness World has in-club membership offers, personal training specials, and the chance to win exciting prizes.

They have teamed up with local brands like Woodlot, Legends Haul and Lolë.

Along with the anniversary, there is a lot to celebrate as high-intensity group courses have returned.

Fitness Director Ingrid Knight-Cohee presented some exercises from The WORX on CTV Morning Live.

The WORX is a small group training program available with selected Fitness World memberships.

It includes high-intensity interval training and enables people to be motivated by their peers.

Each class is led by a certified leader who can provide encouragement and appropriate instruction.

Fitness World has expanded its extensive range of amenities.

Hydromassage is a whole new way to relax and unwind after a workout.

Unlimited sessions are included with select memberships.
