Palghar, March 16 (PTI) In raids by the Maharashtra Food and Drug Administration on Tuesday, poor quality cooking oil with a package value of 32.51 lakh was confiscated from two companies in Palghar district.

The raids were carried out on Monday at Sativali in Vasai and it was found that substandard and adulterated oil in the two units was repackaged in old cans, they added.

The seized cooking oil has been sent for testing and criminal cases will be registered once the lab reports are in, an FDA press release added. PTI COR BNM BNM
