New Jersey man rides a motorbike in US to advertise lively lifestyle after damage

WINDSOR (WKOW) – A New Jersey man rides a bike across the country showing people what is possible when living with brain damage.

William Galloway is in Dane County this weekend as part of his ninth bike tour of the USA.

He rides a special bike that helps with his seizures, which began after he was hit by a drunk driver a few years ago.

Galloway decided that he wanted to lead a full and active life and encourage other injured people to do so too.

“One of the hardest things about today is still trying to make up for lost time. And it’s difficult. You turn 40 hours into 80, you don’t know when to stop,” he told 27 News.

Galloway says he enjoys having conversations with people he meets across the country. He also posts videos of his trip on social media.
